Lunch Time Learning | Proper use of Manures | Thursday, March 24th
Every week we are offering an installment in our Lunch Time Learning Series. This Thursday, March 24, join us for a presentation by Katrina Mendrey (Ravalli County Extension Agent). Animal manures are one of our most useful and abundent sources of soil amendments. Different manures have different requirements for composting time, nutritional benefits and points of caution when used on garden soils. Katrina will help us to understand the nuances of manure, aging times and application rates.
We will provide a large green salad, utensils and iced tea. You can bring your brown bag lunch or take out. Our goal is to keep the talk to one hour.
